Chicago

Chicago offers a vast variety of sites to see. Here are some common options but if you don't see a particular site you'd like to visit, just give us a call and we'll be happy to accommodate your needs.

Wrigley Field
Don’t miss the exciting opportunity to go behind-the-scenes of the legendary home of the Chicago Cubs with Wrigley Field Tours. This must-see Chicago attraction houses over 100 years of history. Wrigley Field is the second-oldest ballpark in the majors behind Boston’s Fenway Park (1912). Guided tours are offered on game days and non-game days starting in March.

Shedd Aquarium
Opened in 1929, the Shedd Aquarium is one of the oldest aquariums in the world. Known as “The World’s Aquarium”, it’s home to 8,000 aquatic animals. While visiting the museum, your students can experience an entire year of Amazon River seasons in the “Amazon Risings” exhibit. Also, they can learn about the hundreds of species that survive on the waters of a reef in the “Caribbean Reef” exhibit. If you are into the larger mammals, you can observe Beluga whales in the “Oceanarium”.

Museum of Science and Industry
Come see one of the most visited museums in the world, the Museum of Science and Industry. At the museum, your students will be introduced to many concepts of science, encouraged to make scientific observations, develop problem solving skills, experience hands on interactive exhibits, and they will also be introduced to technology to be used as a tool for learning. After a visit to the Museum of Science and Industry, your students will have an entirely new attitude towards learning.

Willis Tower Skydeck

Hancock Observatory
Be sure to stop and see the most breathtaking site in Chicago. On a clear day, the Hancock Observatory offers a beautiful view that carries on for 80 miles and four states. This observatory, located on the 94th floor of the John Hancock Center, offers one of the most amazing views you will ever see. From the open-air observatory, your group can peer through a telescope to take in all of the beauty. Do not forget cameras to take plenty of pictures and take this wonderful view home.

Lincoln Park Zoo
Take advantage of this opportunity to see one of the oldest zoological gardens in the country. Established in 1868, Lincoln Park Zoo is the nation’s most historic zoo and is visited by more than three million people each year. As always, Lincoln Park Zoo prides itself on providing all of this learning and excitement at a very affordable price, free. As a matter of fact, Lincoln Park Zoo is one of the last major cultural institutions in the country that still has free admission.

Medieval Times
Welcome to the 11th century! Just beyond the great doors of the Hall of Arms waits the celebration arena, the heart of the castle. From high above King Philipe and his daughter-in-law, Princess Leonore, preside over a four-course feast. Below, privileged royal guests are transported to faraway lands including a romantic snowy rendezvous in the woods an authentic medieval tournament for the Battle of Champions – with the help of Hollywood caliber special effects, of course.

Your students will enjoy a delicious moonlight dinner buffet while being entertained by a live interactive DJ. Spirit provides an unforgettable scenic tour of Lake Michigan with breathtaking views of the beautiful Chicago skyline through panoramic windows.

From the Golden Dome that rises above Notre Dame Avenue, to the quiet splendor of the Grotto at the heart of campus, to the lakes and green spaces that provide recreational opportunities in all seasons, Notre Dame’s campus is a visual splendor. Plus, the student union is a great place for your group to eat on the way to or from Chicago.
